Performance Products Catalyst-Styrene
CRI's Performance Products-Styrene catalysts are built on technology developed by Royal Dutch Shell, which commercialized the first widely used dehydrogenation catalyst in the 1940s. Together Shell/Criterion/CRI have manufactured and supplied more conventional dehydrogenation catalyst for the conversion of ethylbenzene to styrene than any other catalyst company in the history of the industry. CRI dehydrogenation catalysts are widely used in commercial units designed by the two major styrene process licensors as well as in other non-styrene dehydrogenation processes.
